For over 40 years, the Albuquerque Social Club—affectionately known as “the SOCH”—has been a gathering place for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies. Built on fellowship, inclusivity, and joy, the Club has long provided a safe space to connect, celebrate, and belong.

Today, we are writing the next chapter together. At the September 14th Membership Meeting, members voted overwhelmingly to save the SOCH and begin the work of renewal. This campaign is about more than survival—it’s about re-imagining our future and ensuring this space thrives for the next generation.

This page will serve as the central hub for updates. Working groups and volunteers will share milestones, progress reports, and opportunities for you to get involved as we bring the SOCH back on its feet.
